I have been an aquarium enthusiast for over a decade, and my love of nature, aquariums and reefs inspires my work. I jumped into reef keeping with both feet, and later branched out into fresh water nature/planted aquariums. I keep several types of aquariums running in my own home, and I enjoy helping others to create their very own aquatic world(s) in a home, office, or place of business.

I have a substantial knowledge base for keeping and maintaining aquaria, and I have helped dozens of fellow hobbyists and owners of aquariums to succeed in having their tanks thrive.  I actively seek new relevant techniques and technology through constant research to broaden my understanding of the hobby. I study microbiology and perform research at Chico State.
